"Family Man" is a single by musician Mike Oldfield, released in 1982 (see 1982 in music). It was released from the album "Five Miles Out", with vocals performed by Maggie Reilly.

According to an interview in 1998, Oldfield wrote all of the music for the chorus, and verses were written by the other writers [cite web |url=http://tubular.net/articles/98_09j.shtml |title="Tubular Bells III" press conference |publisher=Tubular.net |date=1998-09-05 |accessdate=2008-06-13] . Tim Cross has also claimed to have written the majority of the lyrics for the song, and cited Rick Fenn as the inspiration of the 'family man' mentioned in the song [cite web |url=http://tubular.net/articles/07_11.shtml |title=Tim Cross Q&A |publisher=Tubular.net/Lars Tängmark |date=2007-11 |accessdate=2008-06-13] .
