"Input/Output" is the eighth studio and fifteenth overall album by the British progressive rock musician Peter Gabriel, due for release in 2008.

After the release of "Us" (1992) and his Secret World Live tour, Gabriel began work on the album. Its name was "Up" from the start, though at one point it was considered to be called I/O. Gabriel began saying the album was near completion somewhere around 1998 but did not release it until September 2002.

On June 26th, 2007, while embarking on a Warm Up Tour to this album, Peter Gabriel stated in an [http://www.corriere.it/Primo_Piano/Spettacoli/2007/06_Giugno/26/gabriel_genesis_concerto.shtml interview] that the album will tentatively be released in 2008.

Work for "Input/Output" started off from the "leftovers" from the "Up" sessions.
