Simon Johnson (born 9 March 1983 in West Bromwich, England) is a striker who plays for Hereford United.
He has previously played for Leeds United, Hull City, Blackpool, Sunderland, Donaster Rovers, Barnsley and Darlington. 'Johno' signed for Leeds United as a trainee and then went on loan at a number of clubs, before settling down at Darlington.
Simon joined Hereford United on 8 August 2007 on a 2 month contract with a view to a longer deal if he proves himself. He made his debut in the Carling Cup against Yeovil Town and has recently broken into the first team, scoring his first goal for the club against Wycombe Wanderers and putting in some fine performances since, particularly during Hereford's 3-1 win against Bradford City where he was awarded man of the match and assisted in 2 of the 3 Hereford goals.
