Troy Thompson (born 6 November, 1979) is an Australian professional rugby league footballer who plays for the Canberra Raiders in the National Rugby League competition (NRL). He primarily plays as a prop or as a second rower.

While attending Dickson College in the Australian Capital Territory in 1997, Thompson was selected to play for the Australian Schoolboys team. Thompson made his first-grade debut playing for Canberra against the Brisbane Broncos in round 21 of the 2001 season.

In 2005 he, along with Josh Miller, won the Raiders' "Player of the Year" award, becoming the first joint-winners in the club's history.
