Jan Woleński

Jan Woleński (Jan Hertrich-Woleński, born on September 21, 1940) – Polish philosopher. He is currently professor of philosophy at the Jagiellonian University (since 1991); he graduated both in philosophy and law. He belongs to the tradition of analytic philosophy, and considers himself close to the heritage of Lwow-Warsaw School. His main fields of research are philosophy of language and epistemology.
