nihongo|Rikkyo University|立教大学|Rikkyō daigaku, also known as Saint Paul's University, is a prestigious Japanese Christian university in Ikebukuro, Tokyo. It is one of the Tokyo 6 Universities. Its baseball team plays in the Tokyo 6 Universities Alliance (league). Rikkyo is one of the top six Tokyo's top ranked private universities.

History

The university was founded in 1874 by Channing Moore Williams, who was a missionary of the Episcopal Church in the United States. Now the university is the largest university in Japan educating in Anglicanism. The faculties of social or natural science have been also established, and admit non-Christian students to enroll in them.
