Ashtiyani dialect

The Ashtiani dialect is one of the Central Iranian dialect. [http://www.iranica.com/newsite/articles/v2f8/v2f8a054.html] spoken in the Ashtian and Tafresh area of Iran.

It is sometimes seen as a transitional dialect between central Iranian languages and Talysh and is very close to Vafsi. Its speakers are also bilingual in Persian and are Muslim.
