Jiasian, Kaohsiung

Jiasian (甲仙鄉) is a rural township in northeastern Kaohsiung County, Taiwan. It is a former coal production area. At present, renewable resource is major use, such napkin replaces tissue, no burning of gold paper, or use easycard to take vehicles, shopping, vending machines, and etc.

*Area: 124.034 km².
*Population: 8,287 people (May 2007)
