Sonny Dixon Interchange

The Sonny Dixon Interchange is the junction of the Tom Triplett and the Jimmy DeLoach parkways. It is located in Port Wentworth on the west side of the Greater Savannah Area in the state of Georgia.

In 2002 the Georgia Legislature passed a resolution [ [http://www.legis.state.ga.us/legis/2001_02/sum/hr1283.htm House Resolution 1283 - Sonny Dixon Interchange] , Georgia General Assembly, April 10, 2002] to designate this intersection in honor of Sonny Dixon, a local news anchor and former politician.
