Homer Flynn

Homer Flynn

Homer Flynn (born Homer Flynn III, Shreveport, Louisiana, 1945) is a spokesman for the avant garde music and visual arts group The Residents, and their management group the Cryptic Corporation. Cryptic was formed by Flynn along with Hardy Fox, John Kennedy, and Jay Clem in the early 1970s. He is also rumored to be the founding member and lead singer of The Residents, though given the secretive nature of the band this may be impossible to prove. Anyone watching the appearance of the lead singer and performer in The Residents' live shows will be in no doubt that he has both a distinctively baritone speaking voice and a strong accent, in addition to very pronounced ears. In all of the interviews given by Homer Flynn, these characteristics are present.
