Mack played collegiately atClemson University and was selected by theCleveland Browns in the 1st round (11th overall) of the1984 NFL Draft . Prior to playing for the Browns for nine seasons from 1985 to 1993, Mack played for theLos Angeles Express of the USFL.Nicknamed "Mack Truck," Mack was a two-time
Pro Bowl selection in 1985 and 1987. During hisrookie season with the Browns in 1985, he rushed for 1,104 yards and 7 touchdowns. Kevin is well remembered by many for being one of the better players on the original Tecmo Football game on the Nintendo NES, the very first football video game to use actual NFL players.On June 28th 1989, Mack was arrested in Cleveland on three drug-related charges. On August 30th 1989, Mack pleaded guilty to using cocaine.
