Paravur is a city and a municipality in the Kollam district of the Indian state of Kerala. The festivals in Paravur attract thousands of visitors and foreigners. The Puttingal temple Meena Bharani Utsavam (festival) in March is well known for its fireworks competitionFact|date=July 2008.
