The centre consists of a coordinating Hub at the University of Manchester, seven Research Nodes and 12 Small Grant projects.
The NCeSS research programme includes applications of e-Science in both quantitative and qualitative social sciences, and studies of issues relevant to promoting the wider adoption of e-Science.
