The Elaine and Gerald Schuster Institute for Investigative Journalism, based at Brandeis University, is the United States' first investigative reporting center based at a university. The institute was launched in September 2004.
Its major projects are:
*the Political & Social Justice Project
*the Justice Brandeis Innocence Project
*the Gender & Justice Project.
