History
The team was established in 1987, but did not return next season. In 1989 it was re-established for the 75th birthday of the Swiss Air Force. Most displays are in Switzerland, but since 1992 the team has occasionally performed abroad.
Since the establishement the team flies with Pilatus PC-7 Turbo Trainer. In October 2006, it was replaced by the NCPC-7, which is equipped with a new cockpit.
The PC-7 Team has no officially defined homebase. Inofficially it is the airport in Locarno, which the pilots feel most connected with.
