Ballymoor F.C.

Ballymoor Football Club is a youth football club founded in 2003. The club currently competes in the Derry and District League.

History

Ballymoor F.C. was set up in 2003 to accommodate the youth of the Brandywell, Lone Moor and Ballymagroarty areas of the City, hence the name "Ballymoor". From the first year when there was only one football team (The Under 12s) the club has grown steadily to the current four teams which now have members from all over the city. Ballymoor has a dedicated band of volunteers who manage the teams, organise events, ferry the players to and from games and who help with the coaching and administration .The U12 team won the first cup for ballymoor in the 2007 summer Glen Cup and the U14 team won the U14 section the day after.Ballymoor had thier best D&D youth league rank in the 08 season as the under 13's finished 2nd with 2 points from the top
