Ram Reddy , Popularly known as Priyadarshini Ram is a well-known advertising personality in Hyderabad. An Actor, Director, Anchor and a Political Analyst, his directorial debut Manodu got good critical appreciation though it failed to make the cash registers ringing. His First Film Manodu won the 2005 Special Jury Nandi Award from Andhra Pradesh State Government.

Ram is currently the Features editor for the Telugu Daily Sakshi.

Background

"Priyadarshini Ram" was born in Tenali. He did his education in Bhilai, Delhi and Hyderabad.He passed out from Nizam College in 1980 and then got admission in to Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, But could not pursue the course since he had to stay with his mother. He was the sole anchor of the family as his father died when he was 13.

"Ram" always had a flair for writing and he used to write a lot during his college days.His inclination towards creative writing got him into the field of Advertising.He used to think that all he needed was creativity to be in advertising arena.He then realized later that advertising is a science and it needs professional learning.He learnt about it while working at it. He got a major break when he got an assignment to do advertising campaigns nationwide for acclaimed national political leaders in various languages.

His company got an acquisition offer by multinational advertising agency Grey America.But could not accept it because they wanted to shift the base to Mumbai.He could not go because his mom needs him.

"Ram" lost out two golden opportunity because He preferred his work location to be Hyderabad. And the advertising capital of India had always been Mumbai. All big companies prefer Mumbai.Hence the ad agencies in Hyderabad are left out with services and government contracts.

Career

"Priyardarshini Ram" is different from others in thought process or image projection. He got ample of experience in advertising and hence he applies new ways of promotion styles. He emerged as film maker with "Manodu" and then with "Toss".

He also got a passion to act in films. He appears on screen in "Toss" during a dance sequence stepping along with Raja. Earlier to this he also appeared in a not so prominent guest appearance in the film "Missamma" directed by Neelakanta.

He regularly tones up his body in gym and grows up muscles on par with heroes like Gopichand and Jagapati Babu. Slowly, he may emerge as full time actor if time permits. He is also good at dubbing. He gave his own voice for Upendra in "Toss" that stood as highlight.

Priyadarshini Ram has now been made as the in charge of the Cinema and Entertainment section of Saakshi. He will look after everything related to cinema and TV for the paper. Priyadarshini Ram is reportedly being paid more than a lakh per month. And Lagadapati Babu Rao, the renowned PRO for many personalities and films in Tollywood is the exclusive in charge of cinema section next o Priyadarshini Ram.

This multi talented Priyadarshini Ram has several ways to sustain in film industry for ever.
