TUTS has offered free public performances in the Miller Outdoor Theatre in Hermann Park each year since 1968 (deriving its name from these outdoor performances), giving 45 free large-scale musicals there through March 2007. To date, TUTS has produced over 300 musicals, including 12 world premiers, such as Walt Disney Theatrical's 1993 pre-Broadway tryout of "Beauty and the Beast" and the 1995 production of "Jekyll & Hyde" that toured before its Broadway run.
