George Verdell Nock (born March 4, 1946 in Baltimore, Maryland) is a former American football running back. He played for the American Football League's New York Jets in 1969, and for the NFL Jets from 1970 through 1971. He also played for the NFL Washington Redskins, in 1972.

Background

Nock attended Morgan State University from 1964 to 1969 where he received a B.S. in Psychology. Nock was a star running back while at Morgan, he also received All-American honorable mention, All-CIAA, All-State, and All American-Black Colleges. He was named captain of the team for two years.
