Later, from 1993 to 1994, he was honored with a research and residency grant at the French Academy of Art in the Villa Medici in Rome. Apeloig has taught typography and graphic design at the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris from 1992 to 1999, and theCooper Union School of Art in New York City from 1999 to 2002."
