Solidarity Youth Movement, Kerala

The Solidarity Youth Movement is the youth wing of the Islamist political organization Jama-athe Islami Hind in the state of Kerala in India.The movement claims to rely on "Islamic ethics" to fight against "all evils in society".fact|date=May 2008 It has been part of major people struggles such as struggles against Plachimata Coca Cola Company, Karimughal Carbon Factory and Kerala government's plan to launch an expressway in Kerala.
