Student Broadcast Network

Student Broadcast Network

The Student Broadcast Network or SBN as it was also known was the sustaining service for Student Radio in the United Kingdom.

It provided syndicated music based programmes and an hourly news service across the UK via satellite. This was particularly useful during non term time as stations would find themselves without presenters.

SBN was closed by its parent company in 2004.
