Panamanian passport

Panamanian passports are issued to Panamanian citizens to travel outside of Panama.

Visa-free travel

Visas Omission agreement: The countries listed in this category, have convened an agreement with Panama, by which visa requirements are exonerated. Visas exemption: Citizens of the countries listed in this category do not require a visa because the Government of these countries decided so unilaterally, however, these visa free regulations could change at anytime.

The panamanian passport can be obtain only by Panamanian citizens, American citizens born in the former canal zone (the Panamanian government recognized american citizens born in the former Panama Canal Zone as panamanian citizens as long as they register their birth cerficate from the Department of State into the Civil Registry of Panama or panamanian consulate in the United States), and the children of panamanians born abroad who established residency in Panama.
