The company has a global network of 4,000 freelance translators and project management staff, and more than 1,700 full-time employees across North America, Europe, and Asia. The company’s 2010 annual revenues reached over $250 million.

About TransPerfect
TransPerfect founders Elizabeth Elting and Phil Shawe in an NYU dorm room. met at New York University Stern School of Business in 1991. They founded the company in 1992 with a mission to provide the highest quality language services to leading businesses worldwide. With no external financing, TransPerfect grew from a two-person company operating out of a dorm room into the world’s largest privately held language services provider.
TransPerfect’s sister company, Translations.com, was founded in 1999 to specialize in the areas of software localization, website localization, and enterprise-wide translation services.
