He graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science degree in political science.^{[citation needed]}

He starred in and produced the movie American Desi (2001), and is in the cast of Hiding Divya (2006), on which he was also an executive producer.^[1] He also appeared in an episode of Law & Order:SVU.^{[citation needed]}
