Patricia Hamilton

Patricia Hamilton (born 1938) is a Canadian actress. Perhaps her most famous role was as Rachel Lynde in "Anne of Green Gables", its sequel "" (in an uncredited role) and several Anne of Green Gables related films (such as "Road to Avonlea")

Biography

Hamilton attended Pittsburgh's Carnegie Tech"Avonlea actor nurdes 'small fire inside'." Mira Friedlander. The Toronto Star. PEOPLE; Pg. D2. February 14, 1993.] She was also part of Tarragon Theatre's inaugural season in 1971.

She married Leslie "Les" Carlson and then divorced. They had a son named Ben Carlson, who graduated from theatre school.

In the final year of Road to Avonlea, Patricia's sister, Barbara Hamilton, who played Eulalie Bugle in the series, died of breast cancer.
