Laurie Ellis (born November 11, 1979 in Edinburgh) is a Scottish professional footballer who currently plays for Raith Rovers.

Career

Ellis's started his career with Raith Rovers where he made his debut on December 12, 1998 against Greenock Morton in the Scottish First Division [cite web|title=Soccerbase Profile on Laurie Ellis|url=http://www.soccerbase.com/players_details.sd?playerid=15641|work=Soccerbase|accessdate=January 18|accessyear=2008] . Ellis made over 90 appearances for the club and scored his first league goal for Raith Rovers on November 25, 2000 in their defeat to Ayr United. At the end of the season he returned to playing in the Scottish First Division after signing for newly promoted side Stirling Albion on June 1, 2007. Ellis made his debut for Stirling on August 4, 2007 against Partick Thistle.
