The Northeast Wilderness Trust is a non-profit conservation organization based in Boston, Massachusetts working to preserve and restore forest landscapes in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, New York, Massachusetts, and Connecticut.

The Northeast Wilderness Trust works with landowners and partners to restore and preserve forest landscapes through conservation easements, land acquisition, donations, and other conservation methods. Its land protection priorities are based on conservation science, wilderness potential, threat abatement, and opportunity.[1]

NWT projects include the Howland Forest, Wapack Wilderness, Split Rock Wildway, and Hersey Mountain in New Hampshire.
