"Biotechniques: the International Journal of Life Science Methods" is a peer-reviewed journal distributed in print and online form to researchers in the field of molecular biology and biochemistry. It includes primarily articles and reviews on the application of techniques, and is regularly cited in the professional journals. It is listed in the standard directories, such as Ulrich's, and the standard indexes, such as Web of Science. The journal is supported by advertising, and is available open access. The magazine is now published by Informa Healthcare, a division of Informa plc. It was founded in 1983 by Eaton Associates.
