- Cornellà Centre (Barcelona Metro and Rodalies)
-
Cornellà Centre is the name of a station in the Barcelona metro and Renfe rail networks (in which it's known as simply Cornellà), located in Plaça de l'Estació, central Cornellà de Llobregat, a municipality in the southern half of the metropolitan area of Barcelona.
It's been the southern terminus of Barcelona metro line 5 since 1983, when it was opened. It's also served by the Renfe-operated Rodalies commuter train lines R1 and R4, as well as Trambaix routes T1 and T2.
The original name of the station was simply Cornellà, but it has recently renamed "Cornellà Centre" because the next "Gavarra" and "Sant Ildefons" stations are also placed in the municipality of Cornellà.
