Maria Cristina is a Barcelona Metro station (on line L3), in addition to a Trambaix stop, served by lines T1, T2 and T3.
It's located in Avinguda Diagonal, between carrer del Doctor Ferran and Gran Via de Carles III, in front of the La Caixa headquarters, in La Maternitat i Sant Ramon, in the district of Les Corts. The metro station was opened in 1975, along with all the stations that span from Sants Estació to Zona Universitària. The tram station was inaugurated in 2004, the year regular Trambaix service started.
