Enticho is a town in northern
Ethiopia . Located on the Inguya River in the Mehakelegnaw (Central) Zone of theTigray Region , it has a latitude and longitude of coord|14|16|N|39|09|E| with an elevation of 1964 meters above sea level.Based on figures from the Central Statistical Agency, in 2005 Enticho has an estimated total population of 9,048 of whom 4,415 were males and 4,633 were females. It is the largest settlement in Enticho woreda.
Enticho is the location where in
1 July 1889 thatFitawrari Dabbab Araya (laterDejazmach ) met DejazmachEmbaye . Dabbab was taken prisoner by RasAlula Engida 's followers two weeks later.
