List of 1999 Oklahoma Tornado Outbreak tornadoes

The 1999 Oklahoma tornado outbreak that occurred from May 3 to May 8, 1999 across the Midwestern and Southeastern United States produced a total of 140 tornadoes across several states with about half of them across Oklahoma, mostly on May 3. Other tornadoes in the US struck Texas, Kansas, Arkansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, Michigan, Kentucky, Missouri, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina. At least48 people were killed during the outbreak, the majority by an F5 that tore through the Oklahoma City Metropolitan Area.
