History
PDPM-Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing, an IIT Level Institute, was established in year 2005 by Govt Of India for imparting skills to engineering students who can use IT in the field of Design and Manufacturing.About Indo Japan Coll. in india this is the first institute which is selected by Japan Under student exchange Programme.Most of the time the faculty are coming from Japan as well as IIT/K to give lectures to students.Its task of incubation was given to Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur.This institute is also having collaboration with Japan.
The institute offers degrees, at UG, PG and Doctoral levels, in following streams: At UG and PG level the degrees are offered in Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. At Doctoral level the degrees are offered in Computer Science and Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.
