Roger Harrabin

Roger Harrabin

Roger Harrabin (born 28 March 1955) is a British journalist, radio presenter and TV presenter. He was born and raised in Coventry, attending Stivichall Primary School and King Henry VIII School. He then studied English at St Catharine's College, Cambridge.

Starting his career in local newspaper, the "Coventry Evening Telegraph", and as a freelance journalist on Fleet Street. He later joined the BBC reporting on "Panorama", "Newsnight", "Assignment" and "The World At One". He was founder presenter of Radio 4’s "Costing the Earth" environment series. He focuses his attentions on environment, transport, energy, development, public health and economics stories. His most recent television appearance was on the BBC Ten O'Clock News on Monday 14th April 2008 reporting on the role that China plays in global warming and climate change in the run up to the Beijing Olympics.

Harrabin currently lives in Hampstead, London with his wife and three children.
