Denis Charles Aberhart (born March 23, 1953 in Motueka) is a former New Zealand first class cricketer who played for Canterbury and Central Districts between 1976/77 and 1983/84. He later became coach of Canterbury during the 1990s before being appointed coach of New Zealand in 2001, replacing David Trist. Now he is a school principal of Our Lady of Fatima in Christchurch
Aberhart also played for Marlborough in the Hawke Cup.
