June 8 ,1935 -October 25 ,1991 ) born inHoughton, Michigan was apitcher for theKansas City Athletics (1956-57 and 1959-60),Milwaukee Braves (1960-61),Houston Colt .45's (1962-63),Baltimore Orioles (1963), Los Angeles Angels/California Angels (1964-69),Seattle Pilots (1969), Washington Senators (1970),Pittsburgh Pirates (1970) andSt. Louis Cardinals (1971).He helped the Pirates win the 1970 NL Eastern Division.
In 15 seasons he had a 69-93 Win-Loss record, 324 Games (213 Started), 39 Complete Games, 15 Shutouts, 42 Games Finished, 4 Saves, 1,431 ⅔ Innings Pitched, 1,303 Hits Allowed, 639 Runs Allowed, 576 Earned Runs Allowed, 133 Home Runs Allowed, 581 Walks, 921 Strikeouts, 21 Hit Batsmen, 41 Wild Pitches, 6,069 Batters Faced, 53 Intentional Walks, 13 Balks, a 3.62 ERA and a 1.316 WHIP.
He died in Poza Rica, Veracruz de Ignacio de la Llave, Mexico at the age of 56.
