Biography

Pu Zhiqiang received his Bachelor degree in History from Nankai University in 1986, and LL.M. degree from China University of Political Science and Law in 1991. When he was graduate student, he joined the pro-democracy movement in 1989. [Philip P. Pu Zhiqiang has represented Chinese writers and journalists in some important free speech cases in China including the "Chen Guidi case" and the "China Reform Magazine" case.
