Standseilbahn Dresden

The Standseilbahn Dresden is a funicular railway in Dresden, Germany connecting the districts of Loschwitz and Weisser Hirsch near the "Blue Wonder" bridge. The railway was opened on October 26, 1895, and was run by a steam engine until 1910; since then it has run on electricity.de]
