Q30

"For le laptop computer model, see Samsung Sens."-----Q30 is the official student television station of Quinnipiac University, located in Hamden, Connecticut. The station broadcasts closed circuit on Channel 30 to the entire campus during Fall and Spring semesters 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and is solely assessible on the Quinnipiac campus. Q30 is a part of Quinnipiac University's School of Communications, and students majoring in the communications field tape shows at the on-campus station, which boasts state-of-the-art television equipment.

Programming

Q30 regularly airs five student-produced shows every week:
- "The Morning After", a live morning talk show (anchored by TBD)
- "Q30 News", a live evening news program (anchored by TBD)
- "Bobcat Blitz", "Sports Paws", and "Q30 Gameday", which offer complete coverage of the university's sports activities.

The station also airs programming from the Zilo TV college music network and the National Lampoons college comedy network.

Extra

Q30 began its life as QCTV (Quinnipiac College Television). After the school became a university it was renamed Quest 30, standing for "Quinnipiac University Exceptional Student Television". The Q30 name and logo was adopted in the fall of 2002.
