Charles Edwin Irwin (February 15, 1869 in Clinton, Illinois - September 21, 1925 in Chicago, Illinois), is a former professional baseball player who played third base in the Major Leagues from 1893-1902. He would play for the Chicago Colts, Cincinnati Reds, and Brooklyn Superbas of the National League.
Irwin died when he was hit by a bus in Chicago.[citation needed]
