Askunu is a language of Afghanistan spoken by the Askunu, Sanu, and Gramsana people in the region of Pech Valley around Wama, northwest of Asadabad in Kunar province. The most used alternative name for all three tribes is "Ashkun", which is first noted by George Scott Robertson in 1896.

It is classified as member of the Nuristani sub-family of the Indo-Iranian languages.
