Frederick Lundin

Frederick Lundin (May 18, 1868 - August 20, 1947) was a U.S. Representative from Illinois.

Born in the parish of Vestra Tollstad, Hastholmen, Sweden, Lundin immigrated to the United States and settled in Chicago, Illinois, in 1880.After completing his academic studies, he served as president of Lundin & Co., manufacturing chemists before serving as a member of the State senate 1894-1898.

Lundin was elected as a Republican to the Sixty-first Congress (March 4, 1909-March 3, 1911).He was an unsuccessful candidate for reelection in 1910 to the Sixty-second Congress.He resumed manufacturing interests until retirement in 1916.He died in Beverly Hills, California, August 20, 1947.He was interred in Forest Home Cemetery, Forest Park, Illinois.
