Thomas of York (Franciscan)

Thomas of York [Thomas de Eboraco, Thomas Eboracensis.] was an English Franciscan theologian and scholastic philosopher of the thirteenth century.

He entered the Order of Friars Minor in 1242, and studied at the University of Oxford. He later was the leader of the Franciscan establishment at Cambridge. [ [http://198.62.75.1/www1/ofm/fra/FRAtho03.html Franciscan Schools of thought (3) ] ]
