Luis Carlos Cuartero Laforga, Cuartero (born August 17, 1975 in Zaragoza), is a Spanish footballer, who plays as a defender for Real Zaragoza.

A right or central defender, Cuartero made his senior debut with hometown squad on June 20, 1993, in a 2-2 away draw with Atlético Madrid, aged 17, and played there ever since. An utility player, he appeared in 178 first division games (plus the 2002-03 season in "Segunda División").

From 2006-08, Cuartero would only appear in 3 league matches, severely hindered by knee injuries.
