Carol Morin

Carol Morin (born: Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada) is a television personality. artist and politician in Northern Canada.

Early life

Morin was born in Regina, Saskatchewan but is originally from Sandy Bay, Saskatchewan. She is of Cree and Chipewyan descent.

Media career

Morin is a Canadian television journalist, musician and writer. She was formerly an anchor on CBC Newsworld becoming the first aboriginal woman to anchor a national news broadcast in Canada. She was the original host of "In-Vision News" on APTN.

Prior to her candidacy in the Northwest Territories general election, 2007, she was the anchor of "CBC News Northbeat" on the CBC North system in the Canadian territories. Since the election, she is now a television producer of health, lifestyle and arts for CBC North.

Politics
