Francia Raisa Almendárez (born July 26, 1988) is an American actress. She is also credited as Francia Raisa. She is most notable for her role in "", where she plays a tough latina cheerleader named Leti and The Secret Life of the American Teenager as the majorette Adrian Lee.

Biography

Early life

Almendárez is the daughter of Los Angeles radio announcer, Renán Almendárez Coello, known as El Cucuy. She is of Honduran and Mexican descent. She has two sisters named Irlanda and Italia.

Career

She has made television appearances, guest-starring in sitcoms such as ' and "Over There". She has also starred in films such as '; she co-starred in the Nickelodeon movie "Shredderman Rules", where she plays a girl in school named Isabel and in the "", where she plays a girl named Alejandra Delgado. She now plays the role of Adrian Lee in The Secret Life of the American Teenager.

Personal life

She is currently dating Shane Sparks from So You Think You Can Dance and America's Best Dance Crew.
