Perkins Coie is an international law firm based in Seattle, Washington. With its main office located in Seattle's Washington Mutual Tower, Perkins Coie is the oldest and largest law firm headquartered in the Pacific Northwest. Many of the region's legal and political leaders come from the firm's ranks. Most recently, Perkins Coie associate, and former King County Council member Rob McKenna was elected to serve as Attorney General of Washington State. The firm was founded in 1912 and has represented Boeing Company since the founding of the aerospace giant in 1916. Other prominent clients include Microsoft, Amazon.com, Starbucks, Costco, Craigslist, Google, Facebook, Intel, AT&T, Safeco, and Nintendo. It has 14 offices in the United States and China.

In 2006, Perkins Coie again made headlines by representing Salim Ahmed Hamdan, the alleged driver and bodyguard of Osama Bin Laden, in a case that made its way to the U.S. Supreme Court, where the Bush Administration's Military Commissions were held to be unconstitutional.
