Kees Koch

Cornelis ("Kees") Koch (born July 16, 1936 in Rotterdam, Zuid-Holland) is a retired discus thrower and shot putter from the Netherlands, who as a discus thrower twice represented his native country at the Summer Olympics: 1960 and 1964.

With a throw of 55 metres 96 he won the silver medal in the men's discus throw event at the 1962 European Championships in Belgrade, behind Soviet Union's Vladimir Trusenyev (57m11).

In the late fifties and early sixties Koch collected altogether sixteen Dutch titles, seven in shot putting and nine in discus throwing.
