City College Thessaloniki

CITY College is an academic institution located in Thessaloniki, Greece. It is an affiliated college of the University of Sheffield, United Kingdom.

History

CITY College was founded in Thessaloniki in 1989. Four years later, in 1993, it signed a collaboration agreement with the University of Sheffield, taking on the responsibility of running a series of the University’s undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Thessaloniki, Greece. In 1997 the college was recognised as an Affiliated College of the University of Sheffield.

Mission statement

The mission of CITY College is to maintain the highest standards of quality as an Institution of Higher Education employing staff who work at the frontiers of academic enquiry and follow the developments of the real worlds in order to educate students to become experts in their disciplines and at the same time develop into well-rounded cultures personalities who will contribute to the creation of a civilized society.
